Carlotta Montanari

Carlotta Sofia Montanari , known as Carlotta Montanari is an Italian film actress, writer and producer, former TV host. Known for the award winner feature film The Mason Brothers, Being American with Christopher McDonald, Sienna Guillory and Lorenzo Lamas, Parenthood, American Crime Story. In 2013 acted and co-produced Riccione Chi Ama Hollywood, a short film dedicated to her beloved seaside home town Riccione in Italy.

Growing up she wanted to become a filmmaker, given her early passion for the big screen, the old movies and filming, but later she studied and graduated with Master of Visual Arts at the Fellini's Institute; thereafter she studied journalism and communication sciences. During the studies was invited to join an intensive acting seminary based on Stanislavski and Lee Strasberg. It was at that moment that Carlotta started feeling emotionally free and thought that acting was going to be her lifetime companion and a healing playground. Carlotta has been helping and supporting over the years several charity initiations, events and causes. Supported the America: A Tribute To Heroes charity telethon for victims of 9/11. Montanari performed by hosting various TV shows telethon to benefit Italian Red Cross, Gaslini Children's Hospital, and the global organization Save The Children, and the Leukemia Research. Carlotta is an active supporter of Anti-VAW initiations and Face Forward against domestic abuse. Carlotta Montanari is an active helper and supporter of Horse Rescues and Dog Rescues groups of California such as Dogs Without Borders, Angel's Heaven Ranch and Horse Rescue, and WWF.

Born in Italy, Carlotta Montanari is an actress, producer and a philanthropist. She developed a big passion for acting at a very early age. She spends most of her early hood in Rimini, Italy; she attended the Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows elementary school with her brother, after that she attended and graduated from Federico Fellini's Institute at Riccione in Master of Visual Arts. Carlotta Montanari has a strong affection towards her native land, she has starred and produced a short film based on the seaside of Riccione, where she spent her most of the age. She further moved to Rome to complete higher studies and to pursue her passion. At the age of 25, working as a TV host, she created a humanistic column called LiberaMente (Free Mind).

Carlotta Montanari is not bounded to acting only; she has done voice over for documentaries, audio books, children’s books & video games. Carlotta is a motion capture and voice of Sofia Sartor of famous video game Assassin`s Creed: Revelations. Carlotta Montanari was one of the Italian voices of Soul Surfer by Sean McNamara, and The Vatican by Ridley Scott.

Carlotta was starring in Being American along with Sienna Guillory, Christopher McDonald and Lorenzo Lamas. Carlotta acted for Parenthood (NBC), and in one her most recent lead roles in The Mason Brothers, a crime drama directed by the young director Keith Sutlif.

Carlotta Montanari is also adored for her humanitarian work, she has supports many charities initiations, events and causes. Carlotta supported the America: A Tribute to Heroes charity fundraiser for victims of 9/11, she is also giving support to charitable organizations such as Italian Red Cross, Save the Children Gaslini Children’s Hospital and the Leukemia Research.

Being an animal lover she gave an active help & support to the group of horse & dog rescue in California, she is also a fervent animal rights activist; works for national & international and national animal welfare organizations such as WWF, Dogs without Borders and Angel’s Heaven Ranch and Rescue. Carlotta Montanari agreed that she has a passion to support and help and she believes that this is her soul purpose and absolute necessity, to contemplate existence.

Is actually working on two new film projects, one of which will be developed early 2018 and will be entirely dedicated to the horse rescue in California, and all the profit will be donated to these organizations.
