Carlotta Sofia Montanari , known as Carlotta Montanari is an Italian film actress, writer and producer, former TV host. Known for the award winner feature film The Mason Brothers, Being American with Christopher McDonald, Sienna Guillory and Lorenzo Lamas, Parenthood, American Crime Story. In 2013 acted and co-produced Riccione Chi Ama Hollywood, a short film dedicated to her beloved seaside home town Riccione in Italy.
Growing up she wanted to become a filmmaker, given her early passion for the big screen, the old movies and filming, but later she studied and graduated with Master of Visual Arts at the Fellini's Institute; thereafter she studied journalism and communication sciences. During the studies was invited to join an intensive acting seminary based on Stanislavski and Lee Strasberg. It was at that moment that Carlotta started feeling emotionally free and thought that acting was going to be her lifetime companion and a healing playground. Carlotta has been helping and supporting over the years several charity initiations, events and causes. Supported the America: A Tribute To Heroes charity telethon for victims of 9/11. Montanari performed by hosting various TV shows telethon to benefit Italian Red Cross, Gaslini Children's Hospital, and the global organization Save The Children, and the Leukemia Research. Carlotta is an active supporter of Anti-VAW initiations and Face Forward against domestic abuse. Carlotta Montanari is an active helper and supporter of Horse Rescues and Dog Rescues groups of California such as Dogs Without Borders, Angel's Heaven Ranch and Horse Rescue, and WWF.
